Ashleigh Schroeder, NCIDQ, CKBD, is the founder and principal designer of Nest
Kitchen, Bath & Home Design, a full-service design firm specializing in thoughtful, elevated kitchen, bath, and whole-home renovations.
With more than 20 years of industry experience, Ashleigh is known for guiding clients through complex projects with clarity, confidence, and a calm, structured approach. As a National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ)–certified designer and a Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer (CKBD), she brings both creative vision and deep technical expertise to every project.
In addition to her work with clients, Ashleigh serves on the local board of the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), reflecting her commitment to professional leadership, continuing education, and the advancement of the industry.
Ashleigh believes exceptional design is about far more than finishes. It’s about

Project and Procurement Manager
Jim Britton brings more than 15 years of experience in construction and remodeling to the Nest team, offering a critical bridge between design vision and on-site execution.
Having previously owned and operated his own construction company, Jim has a deep understanding of the realities of the field — from sequencing and logistics to problem-solving in real time. This hands-on background allows him to anticipate challenges early, communicate clearly with trades, and ensure that design intent is carried through accurately and efficiently.
Jim is known for his strong client relationships, personable approach, and exceptional attention to detail. He values clear communication and takes pride in making clients feel informed and confident throughout the process. His ability to translate between designers, builders, and homeowners helps ensure that all aspects of a project are thoughtfully coordinated and nothing is overlooked.
At Nest, Jim plays a key role in supporting seamless collaboration between the design team and the field — helping projects run smoothly, stay aligned, and meet the high standards our clients expect.
